• The Hobe Sound NWR is administered from Loxahatchee NWR, and their onsite manager's name is Margo Stahl.

• We average close to 300,000 visitors a year to Loxahatchee and expect to increase to 500,000 when the new exhibits open.

• Our website that you are reading gets thousands of hits a month, including many from foreign countries. Canada and England are our two biggest visitors.

• This summer we have 10 student interns working at the Refuge – 4 from the Youth Conservation Corps and 6 from the Arthur R. Marshall Foundation.

• The new exhibits are under construction by Southeast Custom Exhibits in Anniston, Alabama.  They will arrive in September and the Gala Opening will be October 15 (VIPs) and October 17 (Public).
