NEW VOLUNTEER TRAINING continues on Sundays at 1:00 PM for 2 hours. You only need one session-the dates are Dec. 6 & 20, Jan. 10 & 31, Feb. 14 & 28, Mar 14 & 28, and Apr 11 & 25 (kudos to Dave Underwood). The AUDITORIUM is now filled with beautiful ART WORK hanging from three walls. This juried show, organized by Hadassah, will be on display thru January. Sales will benefit both Hadassah and the Refuge (kudos to Serena Rinker). Fast approaching is the FRIENDS OF THE FLORIDA REFUGES CONFERENCE all day Friday, Jan. 8th. The 14 Florida NWRs Friends groups will be represented and guest speakers include Evan Hirsche (NWRA President), Charlie Pelizza (Pelican Island NWR Manager), and Dudley Edmondson (Naturalist and Wildlife Photographer).
