My Contribution To Preserve the Everglades

Operating Fund

Jay Brenner Leading a Tour

Support environmental education and public outreach through the programs and projects of the Friends of the Arthur R. Marshall National Wildlife Refuge.

Our ongoing annual commitments include co-sponsoring Everglades Day, contributing to the Exhibit Maintenance Fund, and spreading the word about the Refuge through our website, e-mail newsletter, Gator Tales newsletter and calendar.

Special projects for this past year include the installation of new signs on the Cypress Swamp Boardwalk. This year we are partnering with Loxahatchee Canoeing to build a chickee hut and canoe storage structure at the Headquarters boat ramp.

With your support, we will continue to promote a better understanding and appreciation of the natural history and environment of South Florida, the Arthur R. Marshall Loxahatchee National Wildlife Refuge, and the entire Everglades system.

Your donation will enhance the mission, goals and vision of the Refuge.

Harvey Eisen Education Fund

Serena Rinker Teaching

Help us inspire the next generation of environmental leaders through our training programs for teachers, volunteers, researchers and other educators.

The Harvey Eisen Education and Training Fund has been established in honor of long-time volunteer and Board member Harvey Eisen to provide grants to educators to pursue advanced training or research of direct benefit to the Refuge. Programs funded by these grants are currently focusing on teachers from schools with diverse student populations who have had little or no experience with National Wildlife Refuges and the relevance they can have in our lives and the lives of the students.

Your donation to this fund will help assure that our vision is shared, undimmed, with our children and grandchildren.

To direct your donation to this fund, please click the Donate button below, follow the instructions and, on the Review Donation page, click "This donation is in honor of" and specify "Harvey Eisen".

If you prefer to contribute by check, please make it payable to Friends of the Loxahatchee Refuge. For contributions to the Harvey Eisen Education Fund, or for contributions in honor or in memory of a special person, please make a note on the check or send separate instructions. Mail to:
